His many radio presentations have included Friday Night is Music Night for Radio 2\, Brian Kay’s Sunday Morning for Radio 3 and Music in Mind for Radio 4. For fifteen years he presented the much-loved Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Day concert on radio and television. In 1996 he won the gold Sony Radio Award as Music Presenter of the Year.
