We are looking for a willing soul to join our friendly team to manage the advertising space in our two annual newsletters and the summer festival programme. Reporting to the Operations Director, Susannah, you will liaise with our regular panel of advertisers and seek out new ones.
Where? Work from home with occasional team coffee/lunch meet-ups.
When? Seeking out new advertisers could be a low-key, year-round job entirely to fit in with you but there are three spikes of activity: in May and November on the run-up to printing our two annual newsletters – and in June/July for the publication of the festival programme.
Experience required You do not need any sales experience. This is a gentle role with no hard selling required and, whilst we have a budget we work to, there are no ferocious targets to achieve. As long as you are computer literate, happy to use Excel, comfortable with phone and email contact and like the idea of joining the Dorset Opera volunteer team, this could be you.
