Brian Kay, broadcaster, conductor and singer, talks about this life in music. Well known as the bass in The King’s Singers during their formative years, Brian is a noted choral conductor and principal conductor of The Really Big Chorus. His many radio presentations have included Friday Night is Music Night for Radio 2, Brian Kay’s Sunday Morning for Radio 3 and Music in Mind for Radio 4. For fifteen years he presented the much-loved Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Day concert on radio and television. In 1996 he won the gold Sony Radio Award as Music Presenter of the Year. He has been the lowest frog on a Paul McCartney single, one of the six wives to Harry Secombe’s Henry VIII and a member of the backing group for Pink Floyd!
