Patrons are our most generous private supporters. We will enjoy a closer relationship with you, you will receive invitations to Patron-only events and enjoy a priority booking period ahead of the box office opening to others.
Choose your level from four circles of support, starting at £360 p.a. To discuss which level of support would be best for you, call the festival office on 01258 840000 or email the Patrons hon. sec. Elspeth at patrons@dorsetopera.com
During the booking period, to qualify for immediate priority booking, call the box office on 07570 366186, email boxoffice@dorsetopera.com or, easiest, add patronage into your basket in the online box office. This will immediately open booking to you, subject to that circle qualifying at that date, and we will be delighted to welcome you as Patrons.

THE BENEFITS for Patrons in the Conductor’s, Director’s and Chairman’s Circles
- Priority booking opens to each circle of support, in turn, a week ahead of the next, well before the Friends of Dorset Opera and the general public.
- Priority booking dates 2026:
- Chairman’s Circle 10th February
- Director’s Circle 17th February
- Conductor’s Circle 24th February
- Acknowledgement in the festival programme
- Receive our bi-annual newsletter in print form (unless you prefer email)
- Invitation to Patrons’ Day at Bryanston. Come to see the progress of the opera during production week, join members of the cast for lunch and, schedule permitting, attend a rehearsal.
- Invitation to join us before performances in the Sponsor’s Lounge for a glass of Langham’s English Sparkling Wine from the heart of Dorset
- Invitation to the Christmas Patrons’ party

We invite Patrons to pay by standing annually on the 1st October, or monthly.
