Brief Synopsis
Feeling that he has achieved little in life, the elderly Faust decides to end it all. He is about to take poison when the Devil (aka Mephistopheles) pops up and offers him eternal youth along with everything he has renounced including the love of a devoted woman. All Faust has to do is sign over his soul and enjoy himself. But this being opera, it doesn’t take much to know everything is going to go horribly wrong…
