Brief Synopsis
Young Manon Lescaut is being taken by her brother to live in a convent when they chance upon the chevalier Des Grieux who is studying in Paris. Des Grieux is overwhelmed by Manon’s beauty and falls madly in love at first sight. Learning that Manon is headed to a convent, Des Grieux risks everything and convinces her to run away with him… Things do not go well.
