Marquee team 18+

A small team of enthusiastic young people helps us look after audiences before performances, during the long interval and as people leave the site after performances.

Pay: Minimum wage, according to your age.

Who we need: This role would suit a school leaver or student.

Experience required: Although it is welcome you need no previous experience but you should be work with initiative and be keen to follow instructions fast. You need get yourself to and from Bryanston.

Work involved: You will help set up the site during the weekend prior to the Festival, and keep it tidy all week. On performance days, you will use your good social skills to help people find their table, carry picnics if they need help, assist the bar staff and serve drinks at pre-performance receptions. You will help organise the reserved seating in the marquee for each performance and prepare the little picnic cabanas.  At the end of performance days, you will help tidy the marquee, cabanas and hospitality area to make sure they are clean and tidy, ready for the following day. You will leave the marquee secure and shut. Occasionally we need the marquee team to help the Front of House team in the theatre. End time can be as late as 10.30 pm. You will help take down the site on Sunday 30th July.

Dress: We provide you with Dorset Opera Festival T-shirts or black if we need you to help the Front of House team in the theatre.

Lunch & supper – you will be provided with on site in the Bryanston canteen.
